Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or book our services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle your personal information, including payment and booking data.

The Plumbing Hub provides fixed-price plumbing installation services across Melbourne, Victoria. We operate as a licensed and insured plumbing service focused on standardised, upfront-priced installation work.

We offer two types of plumbing services:

• Fixed-price services: Standardised installation jobs with upfront pricing available through our online quote tool. These include product selection, labour, and defined scope of work.
• Custom-quote services: Jobs that require site assessment or variable scope before pricing can be confirmed. These are quoted separately after reviewing your request.

All plumbing work is carried out by licensed and insured plumbers in accordance with applicable Australian standards and Victorian plumbing regulations.

Fixed prices displayed through our online quote tool are valid for the specified service, product option, and scope described at the time of quoting. The price you confirm at booking is the price you pay, provided the on-site conditions match what was quoted.

Custom quotes are provided in writing and are valid for the period stated in the quote. Unless otherwise specified, all prices are inclusive of GST.

If on-site conditions differ materially from what was quoted — such as access restrictions, unexpected pipe configurations, or a change in scope — we will discuss any price or time adjustment with you and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.

The following standard charges apply to inspections, diagnostics, site visits, and jobs that are not covered by a fixed online price:

When you book online, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your job details, pricing, and scheduled appointment information. It is your responsibility to ensure the contact and address details you provide are accurate.

You must provide reasonable access to the work area at the scheduled time. If access is restricted or the job site is not ready, we may need to reschedule or charge for additional time in accordance with our standard rates.

Appointment windows are estimates. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled window and will notify you of any significant delays.

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Afterpay where available. Payment may be required in full at the time of booking, or as a deposit with the balance due on completion, as stated in your booking confirmation.

All online payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details. You authorise us to charge the payment method provided for the agreed amount, including any approved variations.

If a payment fails or is reversed without valid reason, we may suspend or cancel your booking and seek recovery of amounts owed. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us to resolve the issue may result in refusal of future service.

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us with reasonable notice. We ask for at least 24 hours notice where possible.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to provide access at the scheduled time (no-show), may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the standard call-out charge. Deposits may be forfeited where a cancellation fee applies.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including staff availability or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer an alternative appointment or a full refund of any amounts paid.

Our fixed prices assume standard installation conditions. Factors such as property access, existing pipe material, structural modifications, asbestos-containing materials, or non-standard configurations may affect the scope, time, or cost of work.

If additional work is required beyond the quoted scope, we will explain the reason and provide a revised price before proceeding. No additional charges will be applied without your approval.

All work is performed by licensed plumbers and complies with applicable Australian standards and Victorian plumbing regulations. Compliance certificates are provided where required for regulated plumbing work.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the services remedied if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant job, except where liability cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, loss of use, or damage caused by pre-existing conditions, third-party products you supply, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
